Anyone can make a smoothie bowl. You don’t have to go out and buy a ridiculously over priced one that often does not taste as good as it looks. In fact, some places do not even make their smoothie bowls 100% fresh but have pre-made mixtures and juices. Yuck. I make a smoothie bowl probably every other day. Sometimes my combinations come out fabulous, sometimes I ask myself why I thought the combination would work. Side note, I only share the ones I think you would really like! Until December, I will probably try and incorporate pumpkin in every thing but my toothpaste. This is a very LOW FAT smoothie bowl if you top with the right stuff….bananas, a little coconut, low fat granola etc. It is sweetened with 2 dates and tastes amazing. Let me know what you think 🙂

Makes 1 smoothie bowl

1/3 cup pure pumpkin puree

1/2 cup strawberries

1/3 cup raspberries

1/3 blueberries if you’d like

2 medium-large dates

1 cup 40 calorie almond milk


Blend these together!

Top with one medium banana and a low calorie and low sugar granola (I love Kashi!)

……..A little dark choc would be fine too…just a little
